Who is responsible

Under the GDPR we are the data controller for the App account data described below; Paddle is the controller for the payment data it collects directly from you at checkout.

If you just joined the early access list

If all you've done is leave your email on this website to hear about launch, we hold only that email, the role you picked, and the signup date, used solely to send you the trial invite — see "Marketing list" below. Nothing else in this page applies to you until you actually create an account in the App.

If you use the App

Creating an account (signing in with an email code) means we hold:

• Your email address, used only to sign you in and reach you about your account.
• The boards, plans, matches and squad data you create in the App, so it syncs across your devices and survives a browser being cleared.
• A random device identifier per browser/device you sign in on, used only to enforce how many devices your plan allows.
• Your plan status (trial, pro, expired) and, if you subscribe, a link to your Paddle customer record — we never see or store your card details ourselves.

Why we have it

To provide the service you signed up for (a contract basis under GDPR): let you sign in, save and sync your work, enforce the trial and device limits of your plan, and process payment for a paid plan. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Who else touches the data

• Supabase hosts our database, authentication and file storage — this is where your account and board data actually live.
• Paddle.com Market Limited processes payment as our merchant of record, and holds your billing details under its own privacy policy — we only receive your subscription status and a customer reference from them.
• Vercel hosts this website and the App itself.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) sends the one-time sign-in code email and, separately, the early access marketing list.

Each acts on our instructions and doesn't use your data for its own purposes. We don't sell, rent or trade your data to anyone else.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The App itself uses your browser's local storage purely to run (your sign-in session and a cache of your board, so it still works instantly on your next visit) — not for tracking.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, your board data and profile are deleted; billing records Paddle must keep for tax and accounting purposes are retained by Paddle as required by law.

Marketing list

The early access signup on this website is separate from your App account and only ever used to email you about launch and invites, based on your consent. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

If you're in the EU or UK, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable file, or stop using it. Write to coach@pitchside3d.com and we'll answer within 30 days.

If you think we've handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how your data is used in a way that matters, we'll email account holders about it before the change takes effect.
